COGS Executive Committee ('21-'22)
The Executive Committee is a subset of the Leadership Team responsible for holding monthly meetings, voting during General Assembly meetings, and conducting a majority of COGS administrative operations.
The Executive Committee consists of a Speaker who presides over meetings, and a Board of Directors who are voting members with fiduciary obligations. The President and Vice President of COGS, members of the Judiciary Committee, President of the Council of International Graduate Students (CIGS), and Associate Directors sit in as ex officio members.
(President) Rielle (she/her/hers) is a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Animal Science. Her research focuses on dairy cattle behavior and welfare, specifically the relationship between calf health and feeding behavior collected by autofeeder software. Outside of the lab, she enjoys traveling, being active, and tending to her house plants, dogs, and chickens.
(Vice President) Federico is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmaceutical Care & Health Systems. His current research focuses on devising innovative processes for evaluating pharmacy faculty impact. He also conducted research and published peer-reviewed articles in the areas of community pharmacy services and pharmaceutical policy. He enjoys watching college sports games (especially college basketball), traveling, and watching movies.

(Director of Communications and Public Affairs) Dong-gyu is a 3rd year M.S. student in the Department of Plant Pathology. His studies explore the molecular interactions between nematode pests and soil fungi, with the advancement of pest control strategies in mind. If he is not testing new recipes or cycling, he can usually be found in a local craft brewery.
