P&R Council Reps and Student Senators

COGS elects both representatives and student chairs to P&R Councils and elects Student Senators to represent graduate students in the University Senate. The representatives are expected to promote graduate student interests in their respective arenas and report back information to all of COGS.

All P&R Council and Assembly meetings are held on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m, except for the meeting of the Engineering, Physical and Mathematical Sciences P&R Council, which will meet from 3:15 – 5:15 p.m.

University Senate

COGS elects Student Senators who represent graduate students in the University Senate. Senators also become voting members of GAPSA. Senators are expected to promote graduate student interests at both the University Senate meetings and at GAPSA meetings.

Social begins at 6pm; meeting begins at 6:30pm.
