COGS 2005 Open Letter

In July 2005, the COGS Executive Committee wrote an open letter to the administration of the University of Minnesota. In this letter, COGS details many of the problems graduate students are facing today at the University of Minnesota including funding, fees, quality of life, housing, and quality education. The letter is more than a list of problems, however—it is also a list of solutions. We outline what COGS has done this year to try to solve each of these problems, list specific areas where we need additional help from the University, and thank specific members of the University community when they have taken great strides to solve problems graduate students have faced.
